m very pleased that I have managed to finish my design for this weeks competition despite suffering form the after effects of our book club party last night!
Have just met your mum tonight and she told me about your blog...fabulous she was right you are very talented...I'm off to vote for your fabric of the week...px your mum is wonderful px
Ahhh! You really got the Thiebaud look! When I was glancing through the options for the Spoonflower crayon fabric competition, I immediately, I mean immediately, recognized the Thiebaud cakes! Then I backtracked to your blog...I am a true fan of his, having grown up in Davis, CA, where he teaches, and having two paraents who took art classes from him at the University. I think I will have to purchase some of the fabric to make a tea cosy, or some such thing, for my mom. Brava! Jean
a designer and illustrator in the toy trade as well as a mum to 3 teenagers and a chaotic household.
It is also about sharing ideas, images and work from some very talented friends and family who continue to support and inspire me!
I am in awe of you, especially since I did NOT finish mine (rats!)
