Spoonflower

Finally finished the dress pattern for the Spoonflower fabric of the week....have to admit that I am a bit obsessed with competitions and fabric printing...and this one was a challenge. The design is for a 4 year old girl's pinafore style dress with 6 patch pockets all around the bottom of the skirt...have to make it up out of calico yet so that I can see whether my measurements are correct!

  1. Oh Danielle...
I gave up on the Spoonflower. I did the beginnings of a Dragon overall for a very young boy, but the stress of getting it finished (correctly) was too much.
I think your little pinafore is wonderful...I will be checking on the voting to see how it goes. I will meet you in the ring on the next one, okay?

  5. I have a four year old, and I'd love to make this! Saw you on the spoonflower, and followed here in hopes of seeing someone wearing it :) Or maybe some detailed instructions. I don't suppose you'll do a tute for the sewing challenged people like me?
